Notes

Many things have been written and said about Yocha-De-He Golf Club.  As much as we're able to golf, there is always a tiny voice in our head telling us to be cautious and to not always believe the hype.  That voice was silenced when we stepped onto the first hole.  The entire experience of golfing here was magnificent.  The staff was incredibly friendly and the course was truly in amazing shape. 

This course is long and challenging.... but it is fun for all skill levels.  Luckily, there are 5 tee boxes which even the playing field when playing in a group with varrying skill levels.  The greens were very fun and often either protected by bunkers or were undulated leaving for some tricky putts. 

The rough was well groomed and the bunkers were well manicured as well. 

Lastly, the pace of play was fantastic.  We finished in about four and a half hours and that included a few moments of simply taking in the views.

This course is highly recommended by all at Golf & Lifestyle Magazine.  The drive to Brooks was enjoyable with the anticpation of playing the course and the drive back was equally fun with discussions of great bunkers shots, missed putts and of course the lasting memory of every single one of us having to reload off the 18th tee trying to clear the water...
